Hadith on Dhikr: Glory be to Allah by the number of His creations

Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqas reported: He entered the house of a woman along with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, while she had date-stones or pebbles in her hand by which she counted her glorifications of Allah. The Prophet said, “Shall I not tell you what is easier or better than this? Glory be to Allah by the number of His creations in the heavens. Glory be to Allah by the number of His creations on the earth. Glory be to Allah by the number of His creations between them. Glory be to Allah by the number of what He has created. Then say Allah is the greatest similarly, all praise is due to Allah similarly, there is no God but Allah similarly, and there is no power or might but in Allah similarly.”

عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ وَبَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا نَوًى أَوْ حَصًى تُسَبِّحُ بِهِ فَقَالَ أُخْبِرُكِ بِمَا هُوَ أَيْسَرُ عَلَيْكِ مِنْ هَذَا أَوْ أَفْضَلُ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَدَدَ مَا خَلَقَ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَدَدَ مَا خَلَقَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَدَدَ مَا خَلَقَ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَدَدَ مَا هُوَ خَالِقٌ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ
